Dues & Fees

Effective the pay period begining January 6, 2017, Union Dues are set at the amount of $19.89 per paycheck. This is a constitutionally mandated increase of 39 cents per pay period, by AFSCME International. Local 749 has not raised dues by its own accord since January 2011 -- an achievement we are pleased with as we value fiscal conservancy in order to avoid having to raise our membersí dues.

Please check your pay stub to make sure you are a dues-paying member (and not a fees payer). Dues-paying members have the rights to a vote in all Union elections and in all matters before the membership, to hold Union Office, and to Union representation in any grievance or matter before management.

The description for dues on your pay stubs should read: "JudNonPrD", for Judicial employees, or "CrmJusResD" for DCJ employes.  If either description ends in F, you are a Fees payer.  To become a Dues payer, download the Membership Application below, and mail to:
