Daisy Velazquez was elected by the Executive Board in a special election on May 13, 2026, to fill a vacancy per the Local 749 Constitution. Daisy Velazquez was elected in January 2025 as a trustee. Daisy also is a steward.  Daisy currently works as an administrative assistant for the Judicial Branch at the Meriden courthouse.
